South Australian elite cycling team Van D’am Racing and Adelaide superannuation experts Peak Super have joined forces in a partnership for the new season.
The Self-Managed Super Fund administrator said this week that it saw the Van D’am Racing team as the perfect platform to highlight their shared values.
Under the agreement, Van D’am and Peak Super will work together on events to further the reach of cycling in South Australia, as well as other sponsorship activities.
Team director Lachlan Ambrose said he was delighted with the new sponsor and hoped it was the start of a successful relationship with the South Australian company.
Peak Super: Giving back to the community
“We are really fortunate to be receiving the support of some really strong South Australian businesses. The team behind Peak Super have a long history of giving back to the community – and we feel privileged to receive their support as well. We feel like this is a partnership which can only grow.
“With Van D’am Racing being South Australia’s only elite National Road Series team, we value the help of local businesses extremely highly and are committed to giving back to the community through the team.”
Peak Super Marketing Manager John Durrant said: “This partnership between Peak Super and Van D’am Racing just made so much sense. We get sponsorship enquiries from businesses from all over South Australia but it’s not often that we get the opportunity to work with an organisation with as many shared values as we have with Van D’am.
“One of the most impressive aspects of Lachlan and the team was their commitment to not only produce elite athletes, but elite people with a huge focus on doing right by themselves, their community and their supporters.
“This was very much in line with Peak Super’s values and the values of all the businesses in the wider Hub 39 Group.”
